Yes, I know... I forgot to post yesterday (sorry). Well, I shouldn't say I forgot... It was more like I was insanely busy. No worries though, I will be sure to add an extra post before weeks end. And to top it off, I seem to have misplaced my camera. So, today's card was taken with my phone. Therefore, I apologize [in advance] for the poor, POOR picture quality.

As we said last week, this week's theme is Halloween. it's so crazy to think that Halloween is literally around the corner!! I went into Michael's last week, I couldn't help but notice; they had all their Christmas inventory on the floor. I understand, merchants want to remind people that Christmas is coming, but sometimes I think it's those very merchants that ruin it for us!! I mean, seriously... it's August and I am getting bombarded by Christmas decorations everywhere.... puh-lease!!

Happiness is Knowing How to Celebrate YOU

We've made it to the end of the week... And I hear the weather is supposed to be much cooler [at least here in SD]. Anyone have any big plans for the weekend?! Whatever you are doing, be sure to enjoy not only who you are spending it with, but also cherish what you are doing. Life is short, we get caught up in our day-to-day and forget to enjoy what we do and the people who are there with us. 

Today's card is a birthday card that was inspired by my little brother [the colors, that is]. The stamp on it reads; "Happiness is Knowing How to Celebrate YOU." This statement is SO TRUE. My mom always said to me; "Danielle, regardless of what happens in your life... remember to always love and care for yourself. Because if you don't love yourself, no one else will either. What can I say?! Mom is ALWAYS right :)

How's it Rollin'?

Today was one of those "off" days we all go through every now and then. Usually, they don't happen to me too often. However, when you mix an "off" day with crafter's block, this is a recipe for disaster!! No, I am serious... As I was trying to figure out what to make for the day, I burned my finger while using the hot glue gun. Now, I have a blister on the tip of my middle finger. And let me tell you... it hurts, A LOT.

Regardless of my "off" day and *boo-boo*... Life is great and I wouldn't want it any other way.

On to the day's card... The card featured today is probably one of my favorites, I hope you all like it too.

HI There

Summer is long from being over, but I am anticipating cooler days and falling leaves. How much longer must we endure this dreaded heat?! Better yet, don't tell me... The thought alone may drive me to insanity!! 

Now that I am done being dramatic... We'll move on the the real reason you all stopped by; Today's card.

 Today's card reminds me of strawberries [YUMMM]... Maybe it's the rich red color or the glitter domes on the card. Regardless, this card was inspired by today's oh-so-hot day and looks good enough to eat!!

Baby Shower Success

Over the weekend, I threw my cousin a baby shower. I couldn't have been more thrilled and excited to be able to do this for her!! And, of course... The shower was a huge success and everyone enjoyed themselves, especially my beautiful cousin :)

You Make Me Happy

Isn't love grand?! I guess it depends on who you ask, but most would [hopefully] say that it is. You could also ask people what they think love is and you'd probably end up with a million answers... Maybe that is why love is so unique; because no two loves are the same, because it's exclusive to that individual, or to that couple.

Alright, enough of the mushy stuff (lol). 

You'll notice, today's card does not have the traditional "Happy Anniversary" saying, but rather "You Make Me Happy". I choose this alternative based on the couple that inspired this card; my very good friend Jessica and her husband Matt. This couple is awesome and a ton of fun... to top is all off they're remarkable people too!!

Damask Anniversary

It's a hot one today!!

I've really been biting my tongue this summer, up until today the weather in San Diego has been so perfect. Blue skies, slight draft, cool temperatures. BUT, that no longer holds true... it's really, REALLY hot outside and I don't like it. Luckily, my husband (Ooh, I just loving saying that) and I bought ceiling fans and AC earlier this year so, I am staying cool indoors.

Regardless of where you are, I hope your summer is going marvelously.

Happy Anniversary

A few days ago, a friend of mine needed an anniversary card. He [thoughtfully] called and asked if I had one he could buy. To my surprise, I did not... And trust me, was I surprised!! I was so shocked, in fact, that I thought I must have one hiding somewhere, but was unable to find one. So, I decided to work on some anniversary cards since I am in need of them. 

With that said... For the rest of the week, I will be focusing on anniversary cards.
