Remember the other day I had mentioned thunder and lightening?! Well, guess what... Today the entire county (pretty much) is experiencing thunder and lightening. Plus we've had some crazy rain and very humid temperatures. Good thing is, the temperature is going down as each day passes [or so it seems]. Luckily for me, I really enjoy this weather (minus the heat).

Anywho, enough about the weather... Lets get to the card!!

Happy Fall

Another muggy day, here in San Diego. Anyone have any ideas as to how much longer this heat must be endured?! What makes it worse are these cards.... Oh how I am longing for Fall :(

Today's card features PTI's Falling Leaves stamp set. One of the great things about this set is that you have the opportunity to make the tree as full as you like. Also, this stamp set comes with a spring leaf, too. This set is a great one to have, good to use year round.

Give Thanks

As promised, we are continuing with our Autumn/Thanksgiving theme from last week.

Might I add... this heat wave us San Diegans are experiencing, is ridiculous!! It's been super hot, humid and muggy... For a minute I felt as if I were in Las Vegas with the extreme temperatures. And today, I could have sworn we were going to have a thunderstorm... Eek!! Anywho, if you are a fellow San Diegan enduring the heat, keep cool. Otherwise, enjoy the awesome weather wherever you may be.

The Suspense is FINALLY Over!!

GREAT NEWS... I'm an Auntie!!

I am please to introduce my nephew, Benjamin...

Born 9/24/2010 - Weighing 7Lbs. 5.8Oz. - 20 1/2 in. long

Many of you may be wondering why I have been away from my blog, but this GORGEOUS bundle of joy is the reason why. I've been going back and forth to Los Angeles the last couple days to spend time with my cousin [Ben's mom], who by-the-way, did a FANTASTIC job through out the delivery. I seriously commend her, delivering a baby is not easy!! Never-the-less, Lili was amazing!! Both baby and mommy are doing great <3

I am a bit behind on posting, so we will resume our Autumn/Thanksgiving week on Tuesday. In the mean time, thank you so very much for your patience. 

To hold you all off till next week, here is a sneak peak of what is to come... Enjoy.

Freestyle :: Pinwheels

A few months back, I took a class at Paper Tales where we learned how to make pinwheels. I can not tell you how fun and EASY it is to make these pinwheels. In fact, shortly after taking this class, I had a "Family Craft" night where, after dinner, my family and I gathered around the table and made an abundance of pinwheels. Everyone had a blast and everyone loved their pinwheels. Also, you'll never believe how much they come in handy. For today's card I incorporated 3 pinwheels to make this card oh-so festive.

Gooooooooood morning!!

 I figured I would get up early and post on the blog before I do anything else today. That way, I wont run out of time and I'll make sure to get the post up.

It's Friday... Once again, we've conquered  the obstacles of the week and are heading into the weekend. What do you guys have planned for the weekend?! This weekend, I will be attending a BBQ at a friends house and in between today and the BBQ, I'll be doing a whole-lot of catching up.
